Accent CRDi Now Available at All Hyundai Dealerships

All the smoke and mirrors are finally gone as Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI) has finally made available the much-awaited Accent CRDi. In fact, there's better news: it's now available at all Hyundai dealerships nationwide.

Arriving in both 5-speed M/T and 4-speed A/T variants, the new Accent CRDi comes with a shapely hatchback body that adds a European flair to Hyundai's best-selling sub-compact car. Under the hood of the Accent CRDi is a 1.6-liter diesel engine with 128 horsepower and 260 Nm of torque from as low as 1,900 rpm. This impressive power output is thanks to VGT or Variable Geometry Turbo, also seen in the company's award-winning Starex and Santa Fe.

Both models of the Accent CRDi feature front and rear disc brakes as well as anti-lock brakes for optimal stopping power, but only the A/T version gets dual SRS airbags (the M/T only has a driver's airbag).

The Accent CRDi M/T model is priced at a budget-friendly P 768,000 and comes with 14-inch steel rims with cover, steering wheel audio controls, and power side mirrors. The more lifestyle-oriented Accent A/T adds a leather steering wheel, 16-inch alloy wheels, and electric heated power side mirrors. All those additional features for only P 868,000.

The Accent CRDi is available in five colors: Clean Blue, Carbon Gray, Veloster Red, Sleek Silver, and Crystal White.
