Subaru Palm Challenge 2014 is Now Accepting Entries

The Subaru Palm Challenge: Philippine Leg is back again to find the 10 contestants to represent the Philippines in the Subaru Palm Challenge - Asian Face-Off. Take part in one of the three legs and get a chance to win an all-expense paid trip to Singapore:
  • September 6, 2014 - SM Lanang Premier, Davao City
  • September 13, 2014 - Ayala Center Cebu, Cebu City
  • September 27, 2014 - Bonifacio High Street, Activity Area, Bonifacio Global City
The Subaru Palm Challenge Philippine Leg concept derives itself from an endurance contest which was first held in Singapore. Participants are required to place their palm on a specific area of the car with the last person standing winning the competition. With a time of 75 hours and 1 minute, last year's grand winner, Yusman Wright from Singapore outdid 400 participants from Thailand, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Philippines, China, Taiwan, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia and Singapore.

Hundreds of participants are expected to join the elimination legs in Cebu, Davao and Manila. Similar to last year, several challenges will await contestants putting their heart, mind and body to the test. One winner each from the provincial legs will join the eight other winners from Manila to complete the top 10 challengers, who will represent the Philippines on an all-expense paid trip to Singapore and compete in the Asian Face-Off. There, they will join other finalists from the nine other Asian countries participating, including the Singaporean contestants, to battle it out for the grand prize, a brand new Subaru XV 2.0i worth Php 1.298 million.

Contestants competing in the Asian Face-Off also have the chance to win cash prizes for being the Country Winner (awarded to the last person standing from each country), Asian Winner (the last person standing from all regional countries except Singapore), and a Country Team prize for the longest surviving country (calculated by adding all the individual team members' times together).

Interested participants must be at least 18 years old as of January 1, 2014, a Filipino passport holder, and in good health condition. The registration for the Subaru Palm Challenge is now open at the Subaru Showroom Greenhills, Global City, Manila Bay, Alabang, Batangas, Cebu, and Davao.
