Honda Cars Philippines Garners 100+ Reservations on All-New Odyssey

Honda Cars Philippines, Inc.  (HCPI) has announced that its new luxury MPV, the all-new 2015 Odyssey has garnered strong traction straight out of the starting block. After the official launch earlier this month, HCPI has revealed that Filipinos love the smartest MPV in the market. They love it so much that more than 100 reservations have already been made.

This number is means that the all-new Odyssey is poised to overtake the previous version’s entire sales run in just two and a half months (the North American-sourced Odyssey sold only some 250 units in three years). More importantly, it means that there’s already a two-month waiting list for the Odyssey as early as now.

“We are overwhelmed to hear about the very positive response from our customers especially in this category. We are working closely with our dealerships to be able to supply the orders we have taken over the week. We plan to continue to introduce new products that suit the demands and needs of the Filipino customers”, says Mr. Toshio Kuwahara, HCPI’s President.

Aside from offering the Modulo styling package free-of-charge until March 31, HCPI is sweetening the deal by offering the Premium Twinkle Black Pearl color at no additional cost until the end of the month (this special color ups the SRP of the Odyssey by P 20,000 normally).

For HCPI, the success of the Odyssey is attributed to features such as the: Captain Cradle Seats, multi-view camera system, Smart Parking Assist system, rear entertainment system, and of course, the full suite of Earth Dreams drivetrain technology.

  1. Can't blame them. Mas maganda nga naman ang Honda Odyssey ngayon. Much better to get this than the Hyundai Santa Fe or any Korean crap car.

  3. I really dislike the odyssey. The grand starex gold is way better than this.

    1. The Japan-made Odyssey is more upscale and more sophisticated compared to Grand Starex.

  4. I went to Honda Pasig to get my car, and while waiting i decided to look at the new odyssey. It really has a luxurious feel, but it's not that big to sit 8 people comfortably. (Driver + 1 in front, 2 in the middle, 3 at the back), However, the seats itself, whew... it's like having 2 massage chairs in the middle or like flying First Class in an airplane... Therefore, it's not like a Hi-Ace that you can sandwich a lot of people in, this van is more for people who'd like to go on trips comfortably. So all that said, you can't compare the odyssey to the starex... you just can't :)

Also the doors of this odyssey are automated... yep, sabi nga "pintuan pa lang, ramdam mo na ang difference..."

  5. I find it hilarious that people compare this luxury vehicle to the lowly starex. Keep dreaming. Korean cars will never attain what the Japanese car achieved.

    1. Koreans already achieved that in a short time. The past is no more!

    2. I dont find the odyssey that luxurious. Ung alphard pwede pa. Pero ito parehas lang sa grand starex at carnival. Ang baba yata ng standards natin if we categories this as a luxury car.

  6. Bakit?
