Foton Introduces More Luxurious, More Rugged Variants of the Toplander

Foton Philippines is adding two new lifestyle variants to its Toplander SUV range: the Toplander Executive and Toplander Xtreme. Previewed at the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) last week, these two new variants are designed to cater to particular lifestyles and interests, especially if you find the regular Toplander just a tad too tame.

Available solely as a 4x2 for now, the Toplander Executive adds a dose of luxury to the otherwise utilitarian Toplander. For just P 100,000 more (P 1,098,000), the Executive gets a standard rain gutter and LED daytime running lights. Inside, it gets leather seats. A 4x4 version of the Executive will join the line-up soon for P 1,398,000.

For those who want a more off-road ready vehicle, Foton is offering the Toplander Xtreme which is available in both 4x2 and 4x4 variants. For an additional P 100,000 more (P 1,198,000 for the 4x2 and P 1,498,000 for the 4x4), the Xtreme adds an Ironman Snorkel, tow hitch, and 20-inch Black Rhino alloy rims wrapped with 265/50 all-terrain Saffiro tires. This is on top of the rain gutter and LED daytime running lights.

What’s even better is that all Toplander variants, including the Toplander Executive and Toplander Xtreme are available with a low down payment scheme of only P 98,000 (4x2 models) and P 128,000 (4x4 models).

I known Cummins engine are good engine esp those built in the US and Germany. I personally like the look of the Extreme variant but kind of afraid on the reliability and the durability of Foton Vehicle. please advise. Thx

    2. No I don't because I'm not dumb enough to own one. But I've known some who owned foton vehicles and they've had multiple problems. I also know hospitals who used them as ambulances and boy where they in deep shit after one year of use.

  4. If you want to really know something you have to observe or experience it in person or being an owner.

If you claim to know something on the basis of hearsay, or on happening to see it in a book or read an article, then you will be a laughingstock to those who really know.
