Subaru Expanding to More Locations in Philippines

Motor Image Pilipinas opened Subaru to franchise dealers in 2010 and one of first to heed the call was the ANC Group of Companies. After opening Subaru Alabang, the group expanded with an additional location in Santa Rosa.

Today, Motor Image Pilipinas, Subaru’s exclusive distributor in the Philippines and the ANC Group of Companies has announced a northward expansion with the formal opening of Subaru Pampanga. Operated as Mt. Ararat Motors Inc., Subaru Pampanga will service customers in the bustling Central and Northern Luzon area.

Boasting Subaru’s newest corporate brand identity, Subaru Pampanga has a five-car display, a comfortable customer lounge, and state-of-the-art equipment all in a facility that measures 1,108 square meters. It’s located along MacArthur Highway in Dolores, San Fernando.

On hand at the formal opening were members of Motor Image Pilipinas’ senior management team led by Mr. Gerry Hernandez, the Deputy General Manager.

During his keynote speech, Mr. Hernandez has revealed that increased dealer footprint is key to Subaru’s growth in the Philippine market. In conjunction with that, the ANC Group of Companies has announced plans to expand the Subaru brand to two additional locations.

Plans are underway to open Subaru along Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City as well as in Lipa City, Batangas under the ANC Group.

Other new locations for Subaru include Iloilo and Bacolod under AutoCentral, Inc. and Cainta under the Lica Group.

  1. Wasn't there a Subaru Pampanga dealership already? If I remember correctly, it opened 2010 under Laus Auto Group. Whatever happened to that?

    1. It was shut down around a few years back due to poor performance. It's now a Haima dealership.

ANC then decided to apply and got the franchise for Subaru in Pampanga.

  2. My Subaru dealer made a mistake of accepting the LTO registration of my Forester with an incomplete address so I did not accept the registration papers. I have made numerous followups and all i get from them is they "will check status". Siguro mga 60x na. With different people. From the sales executive to the sales manager to the manager of ..... This happened in November, 2014 ( over 1.5 years ago ). I'm quite disappointed with this Japanese-Filipino-Malaysian company. Folks, any advise ?

    1. Yeah...those dealerships weren't doing too well for the franchise holder of Subaru in those locations.
