Hyundai Philippines Launches Digital Art Competition

Hyundai Asia Resources Inc. (HARI), the Philippines’ official distributor of Hyundai vehicles, embraces innovation that goes beyond vehicle technology. This extends to supporting Filipino artistry as an expression of HARI’s love and zest to empower everyone to get more out of life.

To celebrate Filipino ingenuity, HARI holds an open call for its first ever 2-part Digital Art Competition.  Filipino students and professionals, aged 18 and above, who are into digital design are encouraged to join the preliminaries by submitting a digital artwork that captures the theme, “VISION OF FUTURE SELF”.

The preliminaries are divided into two (2) categories: Student (those currently enrolled in duly recognized academic institutions for SY 2017-2018), and Professional (working individuals engaged in digital art or design from any industry). Twelve shortlisted entrants (comprised of six students and six professionals) will advance to the final round.

The shortlist winners will each receive a certificate,  P 15,000 cash prize, and a host of PR opportunities in the form of exhibits and print/online features. Most importantly,  they are to attend a once-in-lifetime workshop to be facilitated by renowned proponents of creatives and storytelling.

The grand prize winners will be given trophies, plus P 80,000 for the Gold Award,  P 60,000 for Silver, and P 40,000 for Bronze. Their artwork will be exposed to more channels like merchandise, billboards and the like.

This is just the beginning of the many initiatives HARI has in store for today’s homegrown talents. HARI believes that this collaborative journey will jump-start a creative community bound with a purpose.
