Hyundai Philippines Shares Vision with South Korean President

Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI) President and CEO Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo exchanged pleasantries with South Korean President Moon Jae-In at the ASEAN Business & Investments Summit (ABIS) 2017. Ms. Agudo, a panelist at the ABIS forum, “Unleashing Women Economic Power and Human Capital Development (Investing in Education, Global Competencies, Women and Affirmative Action),” echoed President Moon’s keynote message on co-prosperity and unleashing the potential of all.

Hyundai’s presence as Official Mobility Partner of the ASEAN 50 and related summits signifies the Korean automotive giant’s solid support for the ASEAN Road Map of “Prosperity for All.”
South Korea is the Philippines’ fifth major trading partner.

Hyundai’s increased investments and philanthropic work in the Philippines country through HARI is a case study of Hyundai’s interest to grow its presence and influence in ASEAN.

The deployment of 50 Hyundai H350 luxury vans to transport Summit delegates showcased Hyundai Philippines’ bid to drive the success of local enterprises by introducing world-class commercial vehicles to the business community. By investing in the Hyundai Assembly Center (HAC), Hyundai recognizes the rewards of fast tracking consumer access to our vehicles while spurring the development of the local parts manufacturing sector into an indispensable player in the regional automotive chain.
