One problem is the interior. Its so good and so bad. The space although fitting g for that zoom feel is also annoying and claustrophobic in traffic jams as well as poor sound isolation. Your leg will eventually want to bend sideways but there will be no room for it.Now consider that when driving in the PH with all the noise, car honking, road condition and rain. (M2 makes a lot of rain noise too) I just can't take that kind of added stress anymore. I checked out the City and although lacking in that torque/zoom feeling would be a better car for the driving conditions which I will face in Manila. If you live in an area where you don't have to worry about noise and roads M2. For Manila or any City like it get the Honda City.Empykinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03718964670793344018noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7521223446245210239.post-39649348931993377072017-06-01T12:09:46.884+08:002017-06-01T12:09:46.884+08:0091 octane. 91 octane. When I test drove the Mazda 2, it highly resembled the interior design of BMW, it's nice, but you just couldn't shake the thought that it's a copycat.

I have nothing against the Mazda 2 though, because in terms of driving dynamics, it is really unrivaled, heck if I was still a bachelor, I would have gladly picked the Mazda 2 over my Honda City.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7521223446245210239.post-71559068259481074712017-05-27T11:39:04.802+08:002017-05-27T11:39:04.802+08:00Been contemplating between Mazda 2 and Honda City ...Been contemplating between Mazda 2 and Honda City last January.

Test drove both, driving the Mazda 2 is more engaging, while the City is just ok, the CVT is not as engaging as the Skyactiv, you wouldn't even notice that you've already reach 80 kmph+ because the CVT of the City is so quiet and so linear, in contrast with the Skyactiv's zoom zoom feels.

In the end, I still chose the City, primarily because I need the legroom and space, since my wife is 2 months pregnant, it was easier for her to hop in the city, than in the mazda 2.

But if I was a bachelor, without any doubt, I'd pick the Mazda 2.

I still do find a bit of fun though with the City, when I switch to'S' mode and downshift using the paddleshifters. Eventually it'll grow up on you. My decision was primarily because I want my wife and my baby in her womb to be comfortable.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7521223446245210239.post-45130756347593198452017-05-25T08:08:34.653+08:002017-05-25T08:08:34.653+08:00whats the difference between the tires of the 2017...whats the difference between the tires of the 2017 and 2018 Honda City E model?
