In the foothills of Mount Fuji lies the Fuji Speedway, the "temple of speed" where Lexus tests all its performance models. Through its nearly mile-long straightaway and twelve unforgiving corners, this is the proving ground for performance and it is from this world-renowned racetrack—and the silhouettes of the curves themselves—that the Lexus F line takes its name.

On December 14, a white LFA Nürburgring Package, the last of the 500 planned LFA supercars, left TMC's dedicated production facility at the Motomachi Plant, Aichi Prefecture.

This marks the end of a key chapter for Lexus, one in which people's perceptions and understanding of the brand have been challenged, and perhaps changed forever.
