Audi Remains Committed To F1 As It Plans To Purchase The Sauber Team

Under the leadership of Audi CEO Gernot Döllner, the brand with the four rings has outlined its future focus with the Audi Agenda. And as part of this, they have decided to strengthen their commitment to Formula 1 ahead of the start of the 2026 season.

The country’s only one-make sports car racing series, the MSCC Miata Spec Series, returns for a third season this 2024. Organized jointly by Mazda Philippines and the Manila Sports Car Club (MSCC), and supported by Pilipinas Shell, GT Radial, and B.R.M. Chronographes, the first race for the 2024 calendar starts on May 25 (Saturday) at the Batangas Racing Circuit.

The answer is a simple one, according to two Nissan executives.

Nissan is committing itself to the Formula E World Championship until at least 2030. The decision was driven partly by the company’s Ambition 2030 electrification plans and re-emphasized by the updated The Arc short-term business plan which was announced just a few days earlier.

As the only Japanese team on the Formula E grid, this week’s Tokyo E-Prix holds special importance to Nissan. So, to mark its inaugural home race, Nissan Formula E Team has collaborated with Japanese fashion designer Jun Nakamura to create bespoke kimonos inspired by all 11 teams that compete in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.

Mitsubishi Motors is competing once again at this year’s Asia Cross Country Rally (AXCR) which will happen from Thailand to Malaysia this August. The team will be aiming to claim the championship with a modified cross-country version of the Triton pickup truck (the T1 prototype) while further reinforcing its overall strength, focusing on enhanced power performance.
