The acceleration is enough for defensive driving. The Infotainment is not that fancy but just right for the stop and go travel besides I can always connect my tablet or my phone if I want a better entertainment and just switch on the wifi. The fuel price is very volatile it is a big savings if you will get a smaller engine car with a high rate comfort and durability unless you are not planning to carry a total load of a ton the car will do its job well even on climbing, the manual though has an extra-tug power. Riding it every day with a good driving habit of 10-90 kmph cruise throughout the city surely your wallet is smiling and the comfort is priceless. The stock looks is not that pleasing to everybody but all cars can be modified externally and internally. The car design doesn’t pretend to look fast because it is built for the hassle and bustle of everyday driving in fact it looks like a closed fist to me. The looks it just need a little extra nismo aesthetics’. Pricing, Durability, Fuel Efficiency and Comfort it is a thumbs up for me for its class. Resale value is not a big deal for me, it is a vehicle, it is an illiquid asset, it is not like any other property the price as time goes by increases. Having a vehicle needs proper maintenance. I always buy the mid-range because the entertainment is cheaper to buy outside the dealership and a better looking set of new shoes for the car. Spending your hard earned money is not easy with a set budget it really depends on what kind of lifestyle you are living that’s always my principle for buying. “I always tell myself I will only buy what I need to eliminate dilemma”.. .Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03341725777211347546noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7521223446245210239.post-1816326932759624222018-01-11T14:17:13.753+08:002018-01-11T14:17:13.753+08:00This comment has been removed by the author.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03341725777211347546noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7521223446245210239.post-30562615019841493912017-09-06T23:50:40.825+08:002017-09-06T23:50:40.825+08:00I own a 1.5E AT Almera for 3 months now. Most may ...I own a 1.5E AT Almera for 3 months now. Most may find it ugly and dated but for me its more of a classy look. The bluish black paint job on mine is a delight as it transitions between hues of blue and black depending on how the light shines. You are right about the ergonomics inside. It takes some time getting used to. Steering it is a breeze. It is assisted by an electric motor which is very responsive. Maneuvering is effortless. Turning radius is longer compared to others in the competition. However, that is because of the longer wheelbase which allows the interior to have lots of space. I have already taken it for a drive out of town (Davao to Polomolok and back) with a full trunk (including a 3 caser cooler), loaded with 9 pax (5 adults, 4 kids), yet they slept for most of the way. A/C is really powerful, kept us cool despite a high noon travel while fully packed. The 4AT is well balanced between power and fuel efficiency, rarely did I need a shift to 2 or 1 due to uphill climbs. Our 40L tank lasted the whole 390km trip with 2 notches to spare on the gauge (est 13km/L). Toned down the tire pressure to 30F/35R and the ride was a glide. At first, I did not expect much from it. The main reason I chose this car is because of the space, and it was on promo with 19k all in DP, basically an automatic sub-compact at the price of a mini (overall 678k after discounts). For me, if you're looking for space, get the Almera. Everything else is with it at a bargain.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08784969658095889753noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7521223446245210239.post-62815044580155700222017-07-30T13:26:20.577+08:002017-07-30T13:26:20.577+08:00which one would you advise this or the vios or ava...which one would you advise this or the vios or avanza? since the prices are close for base variantsAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7521223446245210239.post-59397941107423212102017-07-30T02:25:05.674+08:002017-07-30T02:25:05.674+08:00I'm considering almera and will test drive tom...I'm considering almera and will test drive tomorrow. Dont need those pogi-points as many are pointing out here. So what you're saying is that you chose an outdated and uglier car instead of shelling out an amount of not more than 50k for a much superior and more reliable car?
