Porsche Chooses Michelin for GT3 RS
Porsche AG will equip all of its cars with the newest Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 ultra-high-performance tires as the company announced at the launch of its latest model, the new 911 GT3 RS. The just released model from Porsche’s 911 series now sport tires measuring 265/35 ZR20 front and 325/30 ZR21 rear.

The New Year calls for new tires, and here’s good news! If you buy new Michelin tires, you can earn additional cash vouchers too.
Michelin is offering, for a purchase of a pair of Michelin tires for passenger car or light truck (PCLT) of the same pattern and tire size (14-inches and above), Sodexo cash vouchers worth P 500. The more tires you buy, the bigger cash vounchers you get.
The vouchers are valid anytime with no expiry date. Take note though that the promotion cannot be used in conjunction with other sales activities offered by respective dealers.

Michelin Takes 'Fill Up with Air' Safety Campaign to the Philippines
Michelin underscored its Road Safety advocacy with the launch of its Fill Up with Air (FUWA) Safety Campaign on Friday November 21, 2014 at S&R Alabang Open Parking Lot along Alabang-Zapote Road in Alabang, Muntinlupa. An inspection tent setup onsite invited all S&R members to have their vehicles’ tire pressure checked and adjusted for free. The Michelin tire experts also provided more tire safety advices to the participants and an assessment of the tires’ condition.

Michelin Pilot Super Sport Prescribed for New Volvo Polestar
Michelin Philippines Chief Representative Michael Nunag announced that starting June 2014 all of the new Volvo S60 and V60 Polestar, will be fitted with 245/35R20 Michelin Pilot Super Sport ultra-high performance tires. The new Volvos will be sold on four continents around the world.
The Polestar engineered cars are Volvo's fastest production cars ever and with their 350hp six cylinder turbocharged engines are able to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in just 4.9 seconds.

Michelin to Introduce Total Performance Award with 1,000,000 Euros (US$ 1,378,000) Prize
When the Le Mans 24 Hours race happens in June 2014 in Europe, Michelin will introduce the Michelin Total Performance Award – a new competition that seeks to speed up innovation in favor of not only performance on the racetrack but also in sustainable mobility.
Originally announced in June 2013, a grant will be awarded to the first team which succeeds in fulfilling five criteria relating to performance, longevity and energy efficiency. When these five conditions are met, one million euros will be brought back into the financing of research into sustainable mobility by an independent academic institute.
