Honda Rolls Out Aggressive EV Plan With e:N Brand

Honda has an interesting EV strategy—one that’s multiprong in its execution. For Europe and Japan, they’ve started out with the Honda E while for North America, they’re cooperating with GM. And now for China, they’ve just revealed their new e:N sub-brand.

Honda’s suite of advanced driver assist technologies is getting an upgrade. With the aim of reducing traffic collision fatalities in their cars and motorcycles to zero by 2050, the carmaker has enhanced its Honda SENSING system to have omnidirectional range (the current one only scans the front and back). The new system, called Honda SENSING 360 will debut in China first by 2022, and will be rolled out globally soon thereafter.

Four months after the global reveal of the Toyota Land Cruiser 300, its more upscale sibling, the Lexus LX has now been uncovered. Totally redesigned from the ground up, the 2022 Lexus LX stands as the brand’s ultimate SUV flagship.
