Ford Philippines prepares for the launch of the class-defining all-new Ford Focus by conducting a Focus Specialist Certification Program to select sales teams and consultants.

Powered by Ford Academy, a regional training program aimed to enhance dealership competence and capability, the Focus Specialist Certification Program is an intensive three-day training program designed to equip the Ford sales team with comprehensive product knowledge of the all-new Ford Focus including its segment-first smart technologies.

The program consists of lectures and workshops on product features and is conducted through a series of detailed feature discussions, role-playing, competitive product analysis, basic technical operations and experiential test drives.

This will also be the first time that the training will involve iPads as sales and delivery tools, allowing the sales consultants to use applications specifically designed for the all-new Ford Focus. Focus Specialists also participated in a practical demonstration of Focus’ segment-first technologies – Active Park Assist and Active City Stop.

"Our objective is to develop a pool of highly-skilled Ford Focus Specialists. Such a dynamic car must be complemented by best-in-class consultants to top the expectations of our discerning customers,” said Margo Delfinado, AVP for Ford Academy.

The all-new Focus is the next of the eight all-new One Ford global vehicles to be launched in the Philippines by mid-decade, helping to significantly expand Ford’s showroom lineup and introduce the brand to many new customer segments.

Ford revealed the all-new Focus in July and will start deliveries to customers in September.
