Ford Continues Growth Story with Makati Ford Opening

Ford Philippines continues its aggressive growth in the Philippine market with the official inauguration of Makati Ford yesterday. Located in Pasong Tamo in Makati City (across CW Home Depot), Makati Ford sits on a 2,500 square-meter land area and has a total dealership area of 1,500 square-meters. Inside its premises, Makati Ford boasts of a 9-vehicle showroom and a 30-vehicle service capacity thanks to its 12 service bays.

Matt Bradley, president, Ford ASEAN and Randy Krieger, president, Ford Philippines joined Ford’s dealer principals to help celebrate the milestone. Former President Fidel V. Ramos and Makati Mayor Jun-Jun Binay were the guests of honor in cutting the ceremonial ribbon to officially open the showroom.

“The continued expansion of our Ford dealer network will help drive our product-led transformation and momentum in the Philippines, as well as help support our overall, aggressive growth plans for the ASEAN region,” said Matt Bradley, president, Ford ASEAN. “In addition to introducing segment-leading One Ford vehicles, we are absolutely committed to making the Ford brand more accessible to our customers here in the Philippines and across the region.”

Makati Ford is the second dealership under the ECY Group to feature the Brand@Retail II concept (the first being Ford Cainta). Under this new dealership concept, Ford aims to emphasize the company’s 4 brand pillars: Quality, Green, Safe, and Smart and mold it into the physical space of a showroom. Among Makati Ford’s design highlights include the use of light-color palettes with Ford blue accentuations as well as the use of energy efficient LED lighting.

“With the opening of Makati Ford, we are proud to continue driving the company’s aggressive growth plans in the Philippines. We look forward to welcoming many new customers to our world-class showroom and providing them with the very best customer experience,” said Yee.

Since the inauguration of Ford Cainta in October of last year, Ford has opened dealerships in Butuan, Naga, Tarlac, and Isabela. Over the next 6 months, Ford will also be establishing dealerships in Bohol, General Santos, Laoag, Zamboanga, Manila Bay, and Baguio.

“With more segment-leading One Ford vehicles coming to the Philippines and a growing network of authorized Ford dealerships, we remain absolutely committed to our One Ford plan and are confident that we will take this even further in 2013,” said Krieger.

  2. Would you happen to have the contact number of this new dealership? It's not yet in Ford Philippines' web site.
