Ford Philippines Hosts Opening of Largest Dealership in the Country

Ford Philippines celebrates the continued expansion of its nationwide dealer network with a gala event to mark the opening of Ford Alabang, the biggest Ford dealership in the country.

The celebration was attended by a number of Ford Motor Company executives visting the Philippines, including Elena Ford, vice president, Global Dealer and Consumer Experience; Dave Schoch, president, Asia Pacific; Brett Wheatley, vice president, Marketing and Sales, Asia Pacific; and Matt Bradley, president, ASEAN.

They joined Kay Hart, managing director, Ford Philippines, and Ford Alabang management team in a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the official opening of the new mega-dealership, which is owned by Dearborn Motors, Inc.

“This new Ford Alabang facility, like all Ford dealerships worldwide, features a ‘customer first’ design and represents our ongoing commitment to provide a truly unmatched customer experience,” said Elena Ford, vice president, Global Dealer and Consumer Experience, Ford Motor Company. “It’s an honor to join our dealer partners on such an exciting day for Ford in the Philippines.”

Ford Alabang is also one of the largest Ford dealerships across the ASEAN region. Strategically located along the Alabang-Zapote Road, the mega-dealership is a five-floor facility covering a floor area of nearly 13,000 square meters.

Ford Alabang boasts a two-floor, 23-vehicle showroom and a four-floor, 80-bay service center.

The facility is built according to Ford’s global Brand@Retail II design concept that provides each and every Ford showroom and the service center the same universal image and ambience that is reflective of the world-class Ford brand.

“Ford Alabang is the latest proof point in the ongoing expansion of our dealer network across   the Asia Pacific region, helping support our aggressive growth and ensuring we are delivering a consistent and world-class customer and ownership experience in fast growing markets like the Philippines,” said Dave Schoch, president, Ford Asia Pacific.

Ford Alabang is equipped with high-speed WiFi internet connections, a coffee bar, and entertainment lounges so customers can relax while shopping or waiting for their vehicle.

Service bays are equipped with all the latest tools and technologies to allow service teams to deliver world-class service. Additionally, service teams and technicians are engaged in continuous training that will keep them updated on Ford’s global technologies, processes and standards.

“We are thrilled with our new Ford Alabang facility and our promise to provide the very best customer experience and service. Our investment in this new facility underscores our confidence in the One Ford plan, and will allow us to welcome and serve so many new to Ford customers,” said Paolo Borromeo, dealer principal, Ford Alabang.

Ford remains on track with its plan to expand its nationwide dealer network to 37 locations across the country by end of the year.

"With the opening of Ford Alabang – our largest dealership in the country – we are helping make the Ford brand even more accessible to customers nationwide, allowing us to better serve them and their needs. The quality of customer service we provide is equally as important as the quality of the vehicles we deliver to customers,” said Kay Hart, managing director, Ford Philippines.
