Thailand Motor Expo 2014: 31st Thailand Motor Expo 2014 Kicks Off


Re-invigorating the stagnant Thai automotive industry, Inter-Media Consultant Co., Ltd. has formally opened the doors to the 31st Thailand Motor Expo at the Impact Challenger Convention Center in Muang Thong Thani, Bangkok. The show brings the biggest brands and names together showcasing the capability and readiness of Thailand to maintain its status as ASEAN’s main automotive hub.

This year, the Thailand Motor Expo sees the global or regional debuts of some of the most important and sought-after products from various manufacturers. For 2014, the highlights include:
Over the course of the next few days, CarGuide.PH will be covering these new launches as well as other interesting sights of the 31st Thailand International Motor Expo 2014.

The annual motor expo sees over 1 million visitors over a two-week duration and will run until December 10, 2014.

This year, the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau has also given its support to the Thailand Motor Expo and its organizer, Inter-Media Consultant Co. Ltd. by inviting foreign journalists for the first time in order to publicize the benefits of having a public-private partnership, most especially to promote Thailand as a convention center hub.

“We are deeply honored that our event has gained trust and support from the public sector, attesting that the Motor Expo is a Car Show of international standing. Besides, The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry or UFI (UNION DES FOIRES INTERNATIONALES) has given its seal of approval to the MOTOR EXPO since 2012, further assuring that the event is organized to international standards,” says Mr. Kwanchai Paphatphong, President of Inter-Media Consultant Co., Ltd. and Organizing Chairman of the Motor Expo.

    1. Unfortunately, Toyota didn't unveil anything at the Thailand Motor Expo. They only had the Dakar version of the Hilux on display.
