Touran Popemobile and New Golf GTI Headline 29th All VW Classic/Custom/New Generation Car Show

Volkswagen Philippines is showing off its current and upcoming new models at the 29th All VW Classic/Custom/New Generation Car Show to be held on Sunday, January 25 at the Camp Aguinaldo Grand Parade Grounds in Quezon City.

The show, which will be open from 8am to 6pm, showcases a convergence of classic VW models with their owners competing for automotive excellence, both in function and looks.

The highlight this year is the Touran MPV which was chosen as the official vehicle of Pope Francis during his visit to the Philippines last January 15-19. Also to be displayed to the public is the hotly anticipated Golf GTI. Available starting February, the GTI is Volkswagen’s performance icon powered by a 220-horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged engine mated to a 6-speed DSG gearbox.

“We believe that this event is an excellent way to showcase VW’s latest models together with the VW heritage. Visitors will also have the chance to test drive a number of VW PH’s current lineup including the Touran, Tiguan, Polo, and the iconic Beetle,” says VW PH Chief Operating Adviser Klaus Schadewald.

Other activities include parts swap meet, novelty items sale, die-cast cars display, music, food, raffles, and giveaway prizes.
