Miss Universe Queens Ride in Style Aboard Porsche Cayenne

Reigning Miss Universe, Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, was back in town recently to personally witness the crowning of the next batch of Binibining Pilipinas winners at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum – including her successor as Bb. Pilipinas-Universe, Maxine Medina.

Wurtzbach surely won over fans anew by breaking tradition to deliver her farewell speech as Bb. Pilipinas-Universe queen live – instead of the usual recording while doing a customary walk on the event stage.

Also present to witness the event was Miss USA and Miss Universe 2nd runner-up Olivia Jordan, who accepted a gracious invitation from Wurtzbach to come visit the country. The two became fast friends at the Miss Universe competition at Las Vegas where Pia became the first candidate from the Philippines to win the crown in 42 years.

Tasked with the much-envied privilege of shuttling the two royal beauties around the metro was the luxuriously capable Porsche Cayenne SUV made exceedingly comfortable by its 6-level suspension and powered by a 3.6-liter V6 with 300 horsepower on tap and a torque-rich 400 Nm. Mated to the sterling engine is a smooth-shifting eight-speed Tiptronic gearbox which perfectly harnesses the performance without jarring the Miss Universe winners.

Now stationed in New York, Wurtzbach and Jordan are working together on charities and an undisclosed special project. The Cayenne closed its assignment by bringing the beauty queens to the airport separately after their commitments.

  1. You'd wonder where the pageant committees get all this money to ferry around beauty queens in cars like this. Their finances must be rock solid or they must have a lot of people who pay highly for the marketing association!
