Kia Lets You Book a Test Drive with Innovative New App

Kia is giving their fans a chance to experience a new and innovative twist to the typical test drive. The high-tech Kia Hands On Drive program limits the influence of sales representatives in the testing stage to let customers have a more engaging driving experience while they test out the cars.
This is the first program of its kind to be rolled out in the world, and the Philippines is one the first two countries to experience this new and exciting way of test driving cars.

Simply book an appointment for a test drive on their official website and download the Kia Hands On app on your mobile device. The app is available in the App Store for IOS and on Google Play for Android devices. It will serve as your key and will allow you to unlock and start the car once your test drive begins.

Administrators will be monitoring the test drives remotely via GPS. The unique set-up, where the test driver won’t be accompanied by a Kia representative, gives the customer a relaxed and comfortable test drive experience.

Starting today, go for a spin within Bonifacio Global City (BGC) and get a glimpse of the best and coolest hangout spots or head on to Sky Ranch in San Fernando, Pampanga to cruise its charming streets. Don’t miss the chance to get acquainted with Kia vehicles’ latest driver-focused and family-friendly features and technology in a whole new way.

Available for test-drive will be: the Picanto, one of the best-selling subcompact hatchbacks in the country. A mainstay on Philippine streets, the Picanto is petite, nimble and accessible; and the Rio, Kia’s versatile compact sedan will look to excite test drivers with its impressive fuel economy and standout looks. The Rio is ready to take on the streets in style.

  1. seems pretty useless to install an app that you'll only use once, a simple webpage would have been good enough
