Foton Gratour is Perfect for Grab, Uber Business

Ever since ride-sharing apps reached the Philippines, they have become one of the most “tapped” applications by people who prefer ease and convenience in going from one place to another. Being in a private space, it’s definitely safer and a more comfortable alternative to the aged jeepneys, crowded buses, and substandard trains.

For operators on ride-sharing apps though, be it Grab or Uber, the ever-increasing trips and usage is beginning to take their toll on their vehicles. What they need is a ride that’s not only spacious and comfortable for the passenger, but reliable and practical as well. This guarantees continuous income with less expense. This is why Foton, one of the leading commercial vehicle brands in the country, is offering the Gratour 7-seater MPV. A compact MPV that’s “heavy on the features, but light on the pockets”.

The Gratour is powered by Foton’s G03-series engine. Already Euro-IV compliant, the 1.2-liter engine generates 85 horsepower and 112 Nm of torque, figures which are comparable to other 1.2- and 1.3-liter engines in its price range. Apart from reduced emissions, the G03 engine boasts of reliable performance and lower fuel consumption as well.

In terms of comfort and convenience, the 7-seater Gratour boasts of a 5-door layout, with 2 of them side sliding. This enables loading and unloading of passengers with less difficulty. Plus, the third row seats are foldable giving more space for the passenger’s cargo or luggage. It also has 13 storage spaces scattered throughout the cabin.

Apart from that, the Gratour also has a solid list of features: dual air conditioning, power windows, central locking with remote keyless entry, and FM radio with USB input. For safety, it has 3-point seatbelts with driver’s seatbelt reminder and a headlamp levelizer.

The Gratour comes in 5 colors: Amber Gronze, Metallic Silver, Aurora White, Starry Blue, and Space Gray.

While the price is already at a very affordable P 510,000, purchase this entry-level 7-seater from Foton until March 31, and you can drive one home for as low as P 4,591 monthly.

Foton Philippines is also set to announce a big surprise about its Gratour models at this year’s Manila International Auto Show which opens March 30. Stay tuned for that one.
