Ever Wondered What the Mazda3 Will Look Like in Soul Red Crystal?

With the pending arrival of the all-new Mazda3 (supposedly as soon as the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show in October), Mazda is giving its best-selling Mazda3 (Axela in Japan) one more update that adds a new color and even more safety equipment.

Announced for the Japanese market (for now), the latest update of the Mazda3 adds standard i-ACTIVSENSE across the lineup. This suite of collision avoidance technology includes advanced smart city brake (Advanced SCBS) that automatically brakes the car to avoid an accident when detecting other obstacles or pedestrians both going forward and reversing; lane departure warning (LDWS); advanced light control; and even a pedal “suppression control” that prevents accidental pedal misapplication on A/T-equipped models.

Interestingly, the Mazda3 is also the first current generation model to receive a 360-degree view monitor. By using four cameras (front, rear, left, and right), it stiches the images to produce a Bird’s Eye View on the Mazda Connect system allowing it to easily maneuver through tight confines.

And for those wanting a special color, the Mazda3 is also the second model (after the all-new CX-5) to receive Soul Red Crystal.

It’s highly unlikely that the Philippine market Mazda3 will see yet another update, but keep your fingers crossed for any official announcements. For now though, just stare at how the Mazda3 looks even better in Soul Red Crystal.
