EasyTrip Tag Users: No Need to Switch

EasyTrip Services Corporation is reminding its customers that the company has no plans to phase out the EasyTrip tag for use on the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX).

In a short email statement, the company said that the EasyTrip RFID is simply another electronic toll payment option and will not replace the EasyTrip tag. That said, the EasyTrip RFID offers the additional convenience of using it on the Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX).

The company advises its users to only have one form of electronic payment unit installed; either the EasyTrip tag, EasyTrip RFID, or EasyDrive RFID. Having both the tag and the sticker in a single vehicle will cause one or both units to be charged with the farthest amount.

  1. Thank you for this. can you please put up a link to your source? I have the Easytrip Tag(nlex) and would like to use it on Coastal Road: Easydrive by Easytrip. As of date, both nlex and Coastal Rd. websites says that their respective Raids are exclusive (ex. Easytrip for nlex only) and cannot be used interchangeably.
