The 2018 Nissan Urvan is Here!

After announcing that its 2018 Urvan will arrive by November, Nissan Philippines has delivered on that promise. The company has finally pulled the wraps off the 2018 Urvan line-up which is available in 5 variants, including one that comes with the much-awaited automatic gearbox.

All except for the NV350 Urvan Cargo receives a new fascia. The front-end is now dominated by a larger grille that incorporates the V-Motion design. In the NV350 variants, this is finished in high-gloss piano black while on the Urvan Premium, it’s finished in chrome. Additionally, the 2018 models (except for the Cargo version) gets new halogen headlights and bumpers.

The Urvan Premium differentiates itself from its narrow body siblings by having color-keyed bumpers, door handles, and sliding door rails. It also gets a new front fog lamp design for 2018.

Mechanically, the Urvan remains the same. It’s powered by a 2.5-liter turbo diesel engine. With its variable geometry turbocharger, it gets 129 horsepower and 356 Nm of torque. The 5-speed manual also remains unchanged. New for 2018 though is the availability of a 5-speed automatic on the Urvan Premium model. This answers the prayers of would-be van buyers who are hoping for additional comfort when tackling Manila traffic.

Along with the 2018 update, Nissan has also hiked up the prices of the Urvan across the line-up. The narrow body versions see an increase of P 72,000 while the Premium variant goes up by P 20,000. The prices of the 2018 Urvan is as follows:
  • Nissan NV350 Urvan 15-Seater – P 1,299,000
