EcoSport, Everest, Ranger Boost Ford Philippines to Record November Performance


Ford Philippines announced a record performance for the month of November with retail sales rising 13 percent from a year ago to 3,408 vehicles on the back of continuing strong demand for EcoSport, Everest and Ranger.

“Our top-selling vehicles helped deliver a record November performance,” said Bertrand Lessard, managing director, Ford Philippines. “We are confident to close out the year on a high note as our showrooms across the country are remaining busy.”

Ford’s year-to-date sales through November have increased five percent to 31,994 vehicles.

The segment-defining Ranger continued its momentum with November sales increasing 28 percent from the previous year to 1,003 vehicles. Year-to-date sales for the ‘Built Ford Tough’ Ranger, the country’s second best-selling pick-up truck, have risen 25 percent to 9,225 vehicles.

Sales of the Everest mid-size SUV grew 15 percent year-on-year to 1,100 vehicles, driving its year-to-date sales to 10,873 vehicles.

The EcoSport compact SUV delivered November sales that rose just over one percent from a year ago to 1,110 vehicles, pushing its year-to-date sales up 11 percent to 9,849 vehicles.

Ford’s North American-built vehicles also contributed to the record November performance. Retail sales for the Explorer premium SUV rose 25 percent from a year ago to 104 vehicles, bringing its year-to-date sales up 10 percent to 1,036 units. The Mustang recorded sales of 37 vehicles, pushing year-to-date sales up 31 percent to 377 vehicles.
