Subaru Viziv Tourer Concept Shows Off Potential Future Levorg Sports Wagon

Subaru showed off the first indications of how a future Levorg sports wagon could look like with the arrival of the Viziv Tourer Concept at the Geneva International Motor Show.

Taking cues from the Viziv Performance Concept at the Tokyo Motor Show and the Viziv Performance STI Concept at the Tokyo Auto Salon, the Viziv Tourer Concept continues to evoke a feeling of solidity based on the brand’s Dynamic x Solid design.

Like all other Viziv Concepts, its hexagonal grille serves as the starting point for a rigid-looking, forward-thrusting design with defined fenders. Setting the Viziv Tourer Concept apart is its spacious luggage compartment that promises utility and practicality.

While mechanical details are almost nonexistent, the Viziv Tourer Concept marries Subaru’s boxer engine with its trademark Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system. All in all, it should deliver outstanding driving performance and safety. Furthermore, it will have some level of autonomy thanks to functions that combine Subaru’s EyeSight system with radar and a highly accurate GPS system.

The Philippines is expecting the refreshed Levorg sometime in 2018 which includes an upgrade to the more powerful 2.0-liter turbocharged boxer engine. After that, expect a full model change for the WRX and WRX STI sometime in 2019 with the Levorg to follow soon therafter, likely by 2020.
