Hyundai Philippines Recognized for Regional Excellence and Best Sales

Coming at the heels of the award for excellence in Customer Satisfaction in After-Sales in Asia-Pacific last February, Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI) adds two more feathers to its cap, winning honors from Hyundai Motor Company (HMC) in the commercial and passenger vehicle categories.

HARI Commercial Vehicles Division won the 2017 Regional Excellence Award for Asia & Pacific, besting 15 others in the region, at the 2018 Hyundai Trucks and Bus Global Distributors Convention held March 21-24, 2018 in Sydney, Australia. The official Philippine distributor of Hyundai trucks and buses was cited for its outstanding performance in 2017, marked by rapid growth in sales, bold marketing campaigns, and unparalleled brand loyalty.

HARI entered the CV distributorship business in February 15, 2016—the only single-brand distributorship in the region. In 2017, after just one full year of operations, HARI CV Division delivered 883 percent growth in retail sales, exceeding the all-time-high performance of the former distributor in its 13 years of operations.

HARI was also cited for revitalizing customer confidence in Hyundai CV After-Sales through bold marketing campaigns headlined by the Call for Service Inspection (CSI) program, the service hotline to highly trained technicians who bring Hyundai’s tried-and-tested CV maintenance and repair right to the customer’s doorstep.

HMC likewise recognized HARI’s daring marketing push of the H350 as Official Mobility Partner of the 31st ASEAN Summit in November last year. Said partnership shored up sales for Hyundai’s popular luxury van. The success story of the H350 in the Philippines is deemed unrivaled in the entire Hyundai CV global network.

Not to be outdone, HARI’s passenger car (PC) sales performance also received due accolade with the bestowal of the 2017 Best Sales Award. Presented last March 21 at the Regional Partners Convention 2018 in Hanoi, Vietnam, HARI was recognized for hitting the highest sales volume in the region, besting the 27 other distributorships in Asia-Pacific.

“We dedicate these awards to our hardworking front liners in Sales and After Sales in our 42-strong nationwide dealership fortress,” said HARI President and CEO Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo. “These are the men and women who proudly embody our customer promise: kung ano ang Gusto mo, Kaya naming ibigay. Kasama ninyo ang Hyundai sa biyahe ng buhay.”

Hyundai Philippines’ ongoing campaign, “Gusto Ko, Kaya Ko, Sama Tayo” transcends the standard definition of mobility. Beyond cutting edge design and technology, Gusto is driven by the power of the Filipino customer’s heart—their dreams, values, and needs.
