Ford Ranger Raptor Has Begun Production (w/ Video)

You remember the Ford Ranger Raptor? Of course, you do. Well, after its big global launch shebang last February, you’ll be happy to know that Ford Performance’s first mid-sized pickup truck is finally entering the next phase: production.

The American carmaker has just released a time lapse video confirming that the Ranger Raptor is now rolling off the production lines at Ford’s manufacturing facilities in Thailand. The most exciting part? The first batch looks to be left-hand drive! If you don’t believe us, check out the embedded video below and go straight to around the 1:33 mark. Though the “Ranger Raptor” opening graphics on the SYNC 3 is the main focus there, you’ll also notice that the steering wheel’s on the left-side.  It’s time to squeal like little girls, guys, because this all means that the Ranger Raptor’s very, very, very close to its Manila debut (shame it didn’t make it to MIAS).

The carmaker has also announced that “more big announcements will be made in the next three weeks” and you can bet your ass that we’ll be on top of it then. In the meantime, enjoy this short video of the Ranger Raptor.
