Honda Allows You to Experience Its Safety Tech Safely

It doesn’t matter how safe you drive, chances are if you were distracted, even for a split-second, it could lead into an accident. On a mission to reduce traffic-related accidents and injuries, Honda Cars Philippines has made its Honda SENSING technology available on its 7-seater diesel SUV: the CR-V.

With Honda SENSING, Honda bundled together an impressive list of advanced safety and driver assistive features. The suite is composed of Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Low Speed Follow (LSF), Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Lane Keep Assist System (LKAS), Road Departure Mitigation (RDM), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), and Lane Departure Warning (LDW).

Despite its benefits, it’s hard for a typical customer or buyer to appreciate what Honda SENSING can do; especially since these systems only kick in during emergency situations.

Thankfully, Honda has made it possible for would-be CR-V buyers to experience Honda SENSING in a safe and controlled setting. Over at the “Interactive Safety Zone,” customers can experience and further understand this suite of advanced safety technology using Virtual Reality technology.

The Interactive Honda SENSING demonstration unit is one of the main highlights of the Honda pavilion at the 7th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) which runs until Sunday, October 28, 2018.
