Goodyear's New Tire Lasts Up to 110,000 Kilometers

In time for its 100th anniversary in the Philippines, Goodyear is announcing the availability of its newest value-conscious tire: the Assurance DuraPlus 2. Featuring a strengthened TredLife Technology, it’s designed for longer mileage with the durability and performance to match.

With Goodyear’s proprietary TredLife Technology and a re-designed cavity design with a new symmetrical tread pattern, the Assurance DuraPlus 2 lasts up to 110,000 kilometers. Furthermore, the re-formulated compound delivers better comfort and performance for everyday driving. Finally, the strengthened sidewalls (with a two-layer construction) resists tire damage brought about by potholes and other impacts.

Alex Ng, Goodyear Market Director for the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Distributor Markets stated, “There is a huge opportunity for the Philippines in the small- to mid-sized passenger market segment, and we are ready to serve this segment with the launch of the New Assurance DuraPlus 2. Its predecessor, the Assurance DuraPlus, was widely accepted with its launch last 2015 appealing to drivers who are value durability and long mileage.

“The same thing goes with the New Assurance DuraPlus 2, but much more improved which will undoubtedly empower our customers the freedom to go further with more mileage, improved durability and quiet performance.” Ng added.
