Mazda Wants You to Be Creative As They Celebrate Their 100th Anniversary

Mazda is reaching a milestone this year. On exactly January 30, 2020, the Hiroshima-based carmaker will celebrate its 100th birthday.

Sadly, there’s still no mention on how the automaker intends to celebrate its centennial—global or local-wise (now would be great time to show off the all-new rotary-powered car), but for those who’re interested in taking a history lesson, a special website has been setup that traces back key points in Mazda’s history. You can check it out here.

Now, if you’re a Mazda owner and would like to share a story about your car, you can post it on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter with the hashtags “#withMazda” and your vehicle’s model, say, “#Mazda3.” You can then be featured on a section called, Mazda Stories in the Mazda 100th Anniversary site. You can check the details here.

Finally, if you’re artistic enough, Mazda is allowing you to download the official 100 years logo in Adobe Illustrator format here which you can then use to create your own memorabilia such as shirts, stickers, or posters.

Take note though that usage of the logo is subject to some terms and conditions (you can’t sell merchandise that uses the logo, for one), so it’s best to check the fine print before downloading or making some nice merch.
