Toyota Gives the Camry a Nip and Tuck for 2021

Toyota is giving their Camry mid-sized sedan a nip and tuck for 2021. Unveiled first for the North American market, it gives a preview of what’s to come for other markets including the Philippines sometime in the first half of 2021.

The 2021 Camry gets a revised front fascia with a bolder grille and a larger, more defined lower intake area. New alloy wheel designs cap the changes.

Inside, the revamped interior adds a new ‘floating’ infotainment screen along with improved dash materials. The seats have also been changed for better comfort. The 2021 model is supposedly quieter with extensive sound absorbing and vibration-damping coating applied to the entire firewall, underfloor, and headliner.

Under the hood, the engines for the Camry remain unchanged, but for the Philippine market, it’s hopeful that Toyota Motor Philippines would start to offer the same 2.5-liter Dynamic Force engine used in the RAV4 (currently, it uses a carryover powertrain from the previous Camry).
