Hyundai Set to Introduce At Least 15 New Models by 2022


Hyundai will be continuing its sustained product blitz come 2021 to 2022 with new SUVs as well as N performance models. This was revealed by the Korean automaker ahead of the U.S. market reveal for their all-new 2022 Tucson.

Realizing the importance of SUVs and crossovers in the market, Hyundai will introduce 12 new and enhanced SUVs throughout next year. The pipeline will include internal combustion, hybrid, plug-in, BEV, and N performance models.

Aside from the all-new Tucson, they will also introduce the refreshed Santa Fe, Kona, as well as its first-ever pickup truck, the Santa Cruz. In addition, they will unveil the electrified Ioniq SUV which will ride on a new, dedicated platform.

In the performance department, Hyundai is keen to widen its N brand portfolio to seven models throughout the 2022 calendar year.

Hyundai’s plan includes three pure N models such as Veloster N and Elantra N, as well as N Line models, including Sonata N Line, Elantra N Line, and Tucson N Line.
