Introduced in the Philippine market in 1996, the Honda City has become Honda Cars Philippines’s best-selling model over the years. Adopting spray polyurethane foam insulation at the bottom ends of the pillars and sound absorbers which is 3.5 times more than the previous model, all passenger can enjoy their conversations inside the car. Moreover, a thicker body and added stiffeners reduce cabin vibrations even more.


#4. Seamless Connectivity

With owners being more digitally savvy than ever, the All-New City is equipped with an 8-inch Advanced Touchscreen Display Audio. Available in the 1.5 S CVT, 1.5 V CVT, and 1.5 RS CVT, it comes with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and WebLink as standard.

Standard on all City variants is a 4-speaker system, but the City 1.5 RS satisfies even the most discerning audiophiles with its 8-speaker sound system.

The All-New Honda City achieves a 5-star safety rating at the ASEAN NCAP, and was, in fact, recognized with the ASEAN NCAP Excellent Award for its consistent 5-star rating throughout its third, fourth, and now, fifth generation.

Aside from Honda’s G-force Control (G-CON) collision safety body that enhances crash safety performance, the All-New City includes other advanced safety features such as Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) with Agile Handling Assist (AHA), Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD), Hill Start Assist (HSA), and Power Door Locks with Speed Sensing Auto Lock. All variants also come with Side Airbags, while the 1.5 V CVT and 1.5 RS CVT come with a Multi-view Rear Camera with dynamic guidelines.
