The All-New Honda CRF300L and CRF300 Rally Means There's No End of the Road When Riding

Honda Philippines continues its product onslaught this 2021 by bringing in new generation design and performance to the off-roading riding genre with the all-new CRF300L and CRF300 Rally.

Serving as the enhanced version of its predecessor, the CRF250L and CRF250 Rally, the all-new CRF300L and CRF300 Rally stands as the aspirational model for those seeking a trail-ready motorbike that remains comfortable and maneuverable on road.

Both the CRF300L and CRF300 Rally comes with a new 286-cc 4-stroke liquid-cooled DOHC Euro 5 compliant engine with 26.6 horsepower at 8,250 rpm and 26.1 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. Despite the higher outputs, its fuel consumption has been improved to 29.5 km/L.

New to both of these motorcycles is an assist/slipper clutch for smoother gear switching operation, and to prevent wheels from locking while changing gears.

Both variants have a digital meter cluster with a gear position indicator.

In terms of design, the CRF300L mirrors the larger CRF450L closely. The smaller headlight throws a strong beam for improved nighttime visibility, while the upside-down gold shock absorber and pro-link rear suspension give it a safer, more balanced ride. Its weight was also reduced by 6 kilograms, boosting its power-to-weight ratio.

Meanwhile, the CRF300 Rally comes with a large rally-style windshield together with the re-designed headlights and winkers. A larger 12.8-liter fuel tank means less worries about fuel when riding off-road, while a 5-kilogram weight reduction also improves its power-to-weight ratio.

Both models come in just one color: Extreme Red. The CRF300L is priced at P 259,900, while the CRF300 Rally is priced at P 300,000.

“The year 2020 clearly showed us what motorcycles can do for us in our lives other than daily commuting, paving way to endless possibilities for motorcycle innovations. For Honda, there is no end of the road to creating a better normal for Filipinos,” Honda Philippines, Inc. President Susumu Mitsuishi said.
