National Irrigation Administration Acquires 95 Mitsubishi Strada Pickup Trucks

The National Irrigation Administration or NIA has chosen the Mitsubishi Strada as its vehicle of choice. This happened as Mitsubishi Motors Philippines, through their dealer partner Citimotors, turned over 95 Strada pickup trucks to be used as service vehicles of NIA officers.

The Strada pickup trucks will be used by NIA officers tasked to monitor and evaluate the status of on-going projects and maintenance activities. Due to the tough terrains that the officers often encounter, a durable and reliable pick-up truck is much needed.

“The acquisition of new vehicles is part of the of the modernization program of NIA. With our newly purchased trucks, we are confident that we will be able to achieve better efficiency and improve our service to the country,” says Gen. Ricardo R. Visaya, NIA Administrator.

The National Irrigation Administration (NIA) is a government-owned and controlled corporation primarily responsible for irrigation development and management.

The turnover ceremony was well attended by top officials of NIA, Citimotors Makati and Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation.

“Mitsubishi Motors – CT Citimotors Inc. is honored to have been awarded the fleet requirement of the National Irrigation Administration. Our partners can rest assure that our Mitsubishi Strada is a reliable pick-up truck that can live up to their expectations. Also, we guarantee NIA that we will consistently provide excellent committed service for easy ownership experience,” says Mr. Ting Almendral, AVP/Branch Head of CT Citimotors Inc., Makati.

“Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) would like to congratulate the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) for their 58th founding anniversary. It is an honor for our products to be selected as their official service vehicle for their field operations. We are confident that the Mitsubishi Strada will be able to deliver to the task required.
