The 2022 Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid Is Effortlessly Fast And Green

Bentley continues its march towards electrification with the new Flying Spur Hybrid—its most environmentally friendly model to date.

The Flying Spur Hybrid combines a 2.9-liter V6 petrol engine with an advanced electric motor, delivering a total of 544 horsepower and 750 Nm of toque—an additional 95 horsepower in comparison to the Bentayga Hybrid. From a standstill, 100 km/h is done in just 4.3 seconds, while its total range between refueling can go as far as 700 kilometers. Packed with a 14.1-kwh battery, it can also go up to 40 kilometers in full EV mode.

Exterior visual differences for the Flying Spur Hybrid include a ‘Hybrid’ front fender badge, quad oval tailpipes and a covered universal charging point on the left-hand rear fender. Meanwhile, inside, the instrumentation has been revamped to show information surrounding the EV drive such as the flow of energy, battery level, and charging information.

All Flying Spurs are manufactured at Bentley’s home in Crewe—the world’s first carbon neutral factory for luxury car production. Customer orders are now being taken, and first customer deliveries are due before the end of this year.
