2022 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 Arrives Starting At P 769k, Comes With 2 Years Free PMS (w/ Specs)

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has officially launched the 2022 Mirage G4. The best-selling sub-compact sedan which boasts class-above features and space now gets a more aggressive and sportier style this time around.

Since its market debut in 2013, the Mirage nameplate has sold more than 92,000 units, and in 2017, MMPC started producing the Mirage G4 locally. Since then, it has built more than 54,000 cars—a testament to the build quality and value that the Mirage offers.

For its 2022 model year refresh, the Mirage G4 now carries the Dynamic Shield design. Encapsulating a revised front-end design, it now exudes greater confidence. At the back, the rear bumpers get a more angular design as well. New 15-inch alloy wheels cap off the changes.

The Mirage G4 comes in four colors: Red Metallic (GLX CVT and GLS only), Titanium Gray Metallic, Cool Silver Metallic, and White Sold (advanced firm order with three-month waiting time for GLX CVT and GLS CVT variants only).

Under the hood, the refreshed Mirage G4 continues with the tried-and-tested 1.2-liter MIVEC (3A92) 3-cylinder engine producing 78 horsepower and 100 Nm of torque. This is partnered to either a 5-speed manual or an INVECS-III CVT.

Despite its compact exterior size, the 2022 Mirage G4 can easily accommodate five adults. New creature comfort features include a new 7-inch Smart Phone Link Display Audio (SDA) infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a new rear arm rest with center cup holder. Other features are carried over including keyless entry with engine push-start, automatic climate control, steering wheel-mounted audio controls, and more.

As for safety, the Mirage G4 comes with dual SRS airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat anchors, and a reverse camera.

There are three variants for the Mirage G4 and they come with the following SRPs: Mirage G4 GLX MT (P 769,000), Mirage G4 GLX CVT (P 819,000), and Mirage G4 GLS CVT (P 899,000).

To further enhance the ownership experience, MMPC is adding a free Preventive Maintenance Service (PMS) package up to 2 years or 25,000 kilometers (whichever comes first) with free sanitation service to all customers who will purchase the new Mirage G4 until November 30, 2021.

G4 GLX is surely gonna sell well thanks to cash discounts and low downpayment plans.

  7. The Disappointing features that needs to be improved in the future are: No Center Door Locking system, No Center Armrest on the front seats and The Rear View Mirror on the top of the line model is still Day and Night function instead of Auto-Dimming system.

  8. An overprived lemon, that now becomes more expensive! Great!

  9. Lol the recent 2021 release of new Nissan Almera (PH model) is enough to shame this overpriced, underspecced Mirage G4 and Ciaz.

And oh, for the last one, Suzuki: even worse garbage—now considering that, at least in Mitsu it's locally produced (but still, overpriced compared to just the Vios alone) while Ciaz is an imported model!
