The Arctic Trucks Toyota Land Cruiser 300 Is One Thicc Go Anywhere Luxury SUV

Well, that didn’t take long. Arctic Trucks got their hands on the all-new Land Cruiser 300 and the end result is this: the 2022 Land Cruiser AT35.

Unlike previous Arctic Trucks efforts, the Land Cruiser AT35 doesn’t look that radically changed from what you get bone stock at a Toyota showroom. However, in order to fit those beefy all-terrain 35-inch tires, Arctic Trucks engineers had to rework the underpinnings.

Arctic Trucks had to widen the tracks by 320 mm, and reinforced the suspension mounts as well as install stronger dampers and springs. Despite the changes, they were able to keep the electronically controlled adaptive suspension.

These upgrades mean that the Land Cruiser AT35 sports a minimum ground clearance of 260 mm that goes up to 270 mm. This is an extra 40 mm compared to the stock Land Cruiser. This gives it better off-road credentials with an extra five degrees of approach (37 degrees) and departure (30 degrees) angles.

Anti-corrosion treatment has been applied to the body seams, and optional equipment include a snorkel and a 5.6-ton winch.

So far, the Arctic Trucks tweaked Land Cruiser 300 will sold in Russia, but plans are already in place to offer it in more markets such as the Middle East—one of the Land Cruiser’s biggest global markets.
