Nissan Gives LEAF EV A Sleeker Look For 2022

Nissan is giving its all-electric Leaf some styling enhancements and new technology for 2022.

The 2022 Leaf features a tweaked design with a new grille, wheels, and a black rear fascia all adorned with the new look Nissan logo.

Inside, the 2022 Leaf offers an upgrade to its NissanConnect infotainment system. Aside from offering Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration right out of the box, it can now link with Amazon Alexa smart home devices for added convenience.

Underneath, the Leaf remains unchanged and as such offers two battery options with the Leaf e+ achieving more than 380 kilometers of range based on WLTP testing protocols.

It also gets ProPilot tech enabling it to automatically stop, start and maintain a safe distance to the vehicle in front, while the innovative e-Pedal provides the option to accelerate, decelerate and stop with only one pedal for maximum comfort on the move.

Nissan says the 2022 Leaf will be available in Europe starting in April, while for other markets it will arrive in the second half of the year.
