Hyundai, Kia Tease 2023 Palisade, Telluride SUVs

Sibling SUVs, the Hyundai Palisade and the Kia Telluride will both undergo a refresh, and will be making their global debut at the 2022 New York International Auto Show next week.

Based on the official teaser photos, the 2023 Palisade large SUV dons Hyundai’s latest design language. The blockier front-end features a much more angular grille and lighting elements that blend more seamlessly with the parametric design. The tall vertical LED strip is will most likely serve as the DRLs, while other lighting components may be “hidden” as seen in other modern Hyundai designs.

On the other hand, its platform-mate, the 2023 Telluride will also get a refresh albeit not as changed as the Hyundai. Having said that, Kia has confirmed an off-road-centric X-Pro variant. Moreover, it will get a heavily revised interior with a screen-heavy design. The digital instrumentation and large infotainment screen are now in a single bezel/binnacle, while some physical controls look to have migrated to the touchscreen.

Both models are expected to retain their powertrain options, although handling tweaks may be on the table.
