Mercedes-Benz PH Adds New E-Class Variant For P 5.290M

Auto Nation Group (ANG), the official importer and distributor of Mercedes-Benz vehicles in the Philippines, brings a new variant in the E-Class family: the E-Class Avantgarde.

Launched last February 2022 as the AMG Line variant, the new E-Class makes a clear statement for greater dynamism from its elongated hood power domes, redesigned headlamps and modern rim designs. Now, with the Avantgarde line, it gives it an understated, yet desirable luxury sedan.

The E-Class Avantgarde features two chrome louvers in its grille with high-gloss vertical struts. The same chrome and high-gloss black trim elements are also found in the front bumper. This is further complimented by the modern LED high-performance headlights and 19-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels.

Inside, the E-Class has dual 12.3-inch displays that’s equipped with the latest NTG 6 MBUX multimedia system, standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Burmester surround sound system. Along with its tech, it has full ARTICO man-made leather seats. It also comes equipped with standard power closing doors as well as safety technologies led by PRE-SAFE, Attention Assist, Active Brake Assist, Active Park Assist, and Urban Guard.

Sharing the AMG Line’s powertrain, the E 200 Avantgarde comes with a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with 197 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque. This is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. Zero to 100 km/h is done in 7.4 seconds, while top speed is at 240 km/h.

The E 200 Avantgarde is priced at P 5,290,000, while the E 200 AMG Line is still available for P 5,390,000.

  1. Pre-facelift W213 was a bargain being 1m cheaper, with a classier design to boot. Facelift just looks downright cheap.
