Here Are The Complete Specs, Prices Of The 2023 Honda BR-V (w/ Specs)

After previewing it at the 8th Philippine International Motor Show last September and opening reservation books last October, Honda Cars Philippines has finally launched the all-new, second-generation 2023 BR-V for the Philippine market.

Designed to marry the aesthetic elements of an SUV with the true utility of an MPV, the all-new BR-V rides on a new platform with a stretched wheelbase and bumped up exterior dimensions. Not only does this add more interior room, particularly in the second and third rows, but it gives the sub-compact SUV a stronger, sportier stance.

Powering the 2023 BR-V is a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder with i-VTEC. Now with a double overhead cam design, this engine produces 121 horsepower at 6,600 rpm and 145 Nm of torque at 4,300 rpm. This is mated to a 6-speed manual for the sole S MT variant and a CVT for the rest. The VX adds the convenience of paddle shifters too.

The BR-V features Honda’s trademark solid wing face. Standard across the line are LED headlights and rear LED taillights with lightguides. The S CVT upward also get LED fog lights larger alloy wheels (17 inches), and a shark fin antenna. The S and V/VX grades are further differentiated by the finish on its grille (black versus gloss black), skid garnish (black versus silver), and door handles (body-color versus chrome).

Inside, the BR-V now features a height-adjustable driver’s seat. Together with its tilt-adjustable steering column, allows it to accommodate a larger range of body types. A front center arm rest with a console box adds to the driver comfort as well. The second row slides, folds, and tumbles in a 60/40 split, while the third row collapses in a 50/50 split. More importantly, folding down the second and third results in a completely flat cargo hold thanks to an adjustable tonneau cover (V and VX).

Standard across all BR-V variants is a 7-inch touchscreen audio system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The S variants get four speakers, while both the V and VX gets two additional tweeters. In addition, the V and VX grades add smart keyless entry, leather seats, automatic climate control, and accessories sockets across all three rows. The VX benefits from additional grab handles and illuminated sun visors for both the driver and front passenger.

In terms of safety, the all-new BR-V gets four airbags, ABS with EBD, brake assist, stability control, hill start assist, and a reverse camera as standard. The V adds rear parking sensors, while the VX bumps up the airbag count to six while also adding Honda LaneWatch and the Honda SENSING safety suite. This gives it feature such as Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Auto High Beam (AHB), Collision Mitigation Braking (CMBS), Lane Keep Assist (LKAS), Road Departure Mitigation (RDM), and Lane Departure Warning (LDW).

The 2023 Honda BR-V comes in a total of four variants:
  • BR-V 1.5 S MT – P 1,090,000
  • BR-V 1.5 S CVT – P 1,150,000

  1. oh it's actually cheaper (except the TOTL) :D than the initial pricing, not by much though but still... the S A/T though is 40k cheaper than initial pricing

I'm guessing the additional airbags for S and V are just side airbags, not side curtain. But most do get full LED of everything, that's cool, a bit sad though that only the TOTL gets Honda Sensing.

Also hurray for physical buttons for the infotainment, the capacitative ones from the current BRV is a beech to use especially when the car's moving lol....
