Limited-Edition 610-Horsepower Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato Is Made For Playing In The Dirt

Just when you thought there was only room for one off-road-tuned supercar, think again. Lamborghini has just entered that niche with the limited-edition Huracán Sterrato.

The Sterrato, which means, “Off-Road” in Italian, takes a run-of-the-mill Huracán and bumps up its ground clearance by 44 mm. It also adds an aluminum underbody protection and widen tracks along with reinforced side sills, new wheel arches, and a revamped rear diffuser. Also unique to the Sterrato is its Bridgestone Dueler AT002 wheels measuring 235/40R19 at the front and 285/40R19 at the back. They integrate run-flat technology allowing this off-road supercar to still reach 80 kilometers at 80 km/h with zero tire pressure.

According to Lamborghini, the Huracán’s rear air intake makes it perfect for tackling dusty tracks so extracting the most out of the 5.2-liter V10 shouldn’t be a problem. It makes 610 horsepower and 560 Nm of torque mated to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. All-wheel drive with a rear self-locking differential comes as standard. Key performance figures include a 0 to 100 km/h of 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 260 km/h.

For the Sterrato, Lamborghini also updated its vehicle dynamics system to include specific “Strada” and “Sport” calibrations. They’ve also added an additional mode: Rally for low-grip conditions.

Inside, the Sterrato continues Lamborghini’s “feel like a pilot” philosophy. It comes with an exclusive Alcantara Verde upholstery together with unique graphics and features in its HMI such as a digital inclinometer with pitch and roll indicator, a compass, coordinate indicator, and steering angle indicator.

Only 1,499 units of the Huracán Sterrato will be made and each one can be personalized using Lamborghini’s Ad Personam program. This means 350 external colors and over 60 colors for the leather and Alcantara interiors are available. Customer deliveries will start in 2023.
