Mazda Fan Festa Returns To Fuji Speedway This September 17

Mazda fans, take note: the Mazda Fan Festa 2023 is happening at the Fuji International Speedway this September 17. This marks the first time in five years that Mazda has brought back its fan event at the Fuji circuit due to the onset of COVID-19 and related restrictions.

This year, the Fan Festa at Fuji will have expanded content so that all Mazda fans, owners, enthusiasts, and their families can find the gathering enjoyable. The full line-up of activities is outlined below, but several of the activities include interaction with Mazda engineers and designers, test drives, and food stalls from restaurants and cafes from Tokyo. Of course, there will be an area dedicated to Mazda merchandising shopping as well.

The main highlight, however, is the demo laps of the 1991 Le Mans 24 Hour winning Mazda 787B in the hands of Yojiro Terada. Terada is a veteran racer who has participated at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 29 times.

Tickets for Mazda Fan Festa 2023 begin on Monday, July 3. Ticket prices are 1,800 yen per person for advanced sales and 2,000 yen per person for same-day admission. Take note that if advanced tickets are sold out, same-day tickets will not be sold on the day. Gates open at 7:30 AM and will close at 6 PM (rain or shine).

A second Mazda Fan Festa event, this time in Okayama, is planned for November for those who can’t make it to the one in Fuji. Read our coverage of the Mazda Fan Festa 2018 event in Okayama.
