2024 Geely GX3 Pro Priced Starting At P778K

After a lengthy preview that started at the Manila International Auto Show last April, Geely Philippines is ready to launch its sub-compact SUV: the GX3 Pro on August 8.

The GX3 Pro will be made available in two variants: the GX3 Pro S MT priced at P 778,000 and the GX3 Pro Comfort CVT priced at P 878,000. And as an introductory offer, Geely’s giving a P 80,000 discount on both variants. This effectively drops the prices to P 698,000 for the GX3 Pro S MT and P 798,000 for the GX3 Pro Comfort CVT.

Measuring in at just 4,005 mm in length, 1,760 mm in width, and 1,575 mm in height (wheelbase is at 2,480 mm), the GX3 Pro will go head-to-head with the likes of the Toyota Raize, Kia Stonic, and even the Chery Tiggo 2 Pro. 16-inch wheels with 205/60 tires are standard. Ground clearance is a commendable 185 mm. Four colors will be made available: White, Gray, Red, and Blue.

Mechanically, the GX3 Pro is powered by a normally-aspirated 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine producing 102 horsepower and 142 Nm of torque (the same as the Emgrand). It rides on front MacPherson Struts and a Torsion Beam Axle at the rear.

Standard features found on the GX3 Pro include a multifunction leather steering wheel, leather seats, electronic-type controls for the AC, and an Easy Connect touchscreen audio system (sorry, still no Apple CarPlay or Android Auto). Moving up to the Comfort variant adds cruise control and a sunroof.

In terms of safety, it comes standard with automatic headlights, dual SRS airbags ABS with EBD, stability control, rear camera, and tire pressure monitoring. The Comfort variant, meanwhile adds backup sensors as well.

What do you think of the specs and prices?

  1. As prices of Japanese cars go higher and higher, Chinese cars are becoming cheaper and cheaper.

  2. Looks dated compared to other geely models. The okavango, coolray and emgrand looks very good. This one sets geely back in terms of design

    2. That's because it is based on a car from 2006. Just China market things here.

  4. I like Geely for its looks, but this one doesn't look modern at all.
