2,000 Geely Vehicles Will Be Used At 19th Asian Games

Two thousand Geely vehicles will be used at the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China creating the largest mobility service fleet in the history of the Asian games.

The Asian Games is a continental multi-sport event held every four years. It brings athletes from 45 members affiliated to the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA). The Games is recognized as the second largest multi-sport event after the Olympics Games.

The vehicles, delivered from Geely’s different subsidiary brands—Geely Auto, Lynk & Co, Zeekr, Farizon, and RADAR will provide support during various activities at the Games including the torch relay, marathon, cycling, opening and closing ceremonies, and transportation between venues.

As the Games promote being “green, smart, and sustainable,” the Geely vehicle fleet will be optimized thanks to satellite-based high-precision positioning technology provided by Geely’s own satellite network. Furthermore, 2,000 full-time, specially-trained drivers from CaoCao Mobility will also be behind the wheel, driving the various Geely vehicles.

“We are thankful to be able to support such a high-level sporting event as an official mobility partner. Geely will do its best to provide the best and most technologically advanced mobility service experience to guests from all over the world and friends from all over Asia. We look forward to cheering on athletes coming from far and near at the Asian Games with all the citizens of Zhejiang and Hangzhou,” says Eric Li, Chairman of Geely Holding Group.

    2. Those are inventory waiting to be cleared and sent to dealers. All brands have such holding sites.
I saw those and realized it may take a while for them to clear out 2023 Coolrays to make way for the refreshed version. But who knows, we might be in for a surprise with all those small SUV competitors launched this year.

    3. The travesty here is they just leave the cars on open lots, unprotected from the elements. That may work in other countries, but the elements here are definitely much harsher due to our proximity to the equator.

    1. What is your basis of being overpriced? Probably underpriced pa nga itong vehicles na ito considering their features. Between made in China and Made in Indonesia, which one will you prefer?

    3. Just compare the priced and features of ashkarra vs ford territory, okravango vs tiggo 8 pro. Di lang overpriced ashkarra and okravango...underspecced pa, ni wala nga ADAS.

    4. Sales of Okavango are still okay as Geely Philippines gives away huge cash discounts for it.Tiggo 8 Pro sales are down since last year as people didn't like its price increase and it looks boring which is typical of a Tiggo SUV.
Azkarra got 4WD and mild hybrid technology that's why it's more expensive.
