Mitsubishi Promises Borderless Adventure With Their Go-Anywhere MPV

You’ve got to hand it to the guys at Mitsubishi. After a period of making characterless cars, they now embrace the spirit of adventure as part of their “Mitsubishi-ness.”

After showing off their new electrified MPV shrouded in shadow, the Japanese carmaker is now presenting it as a vehicle built for adventure.

Naturally, the full reveal is still slated for the Japan Mobility Show by the end of this month, but based on new teaser material, the new MPV “combines the road handling of an SUV with the comfort and user-friendliness of an MPV, with a view toward achieving a carbon-neutral society.” Nice.

Built on the concept of “Borderless Adventure,” this new concept MPV promises to have a spacious cabin with a sense of openness. It will also have the “cruising range and driving performance to handle all kinds of adventure.”

The carmaker has also confirmed that it will have switchable driving modes, a high ground clearance, an electric four-wheel drive system, and large diameter tires.
