Suzuki Auto Opens In Baguio


Suzuki Philippines, in collaboration with Highfleet Motors Corporation announces the grand opening of Suzuki Auto Baguio located at No. 5 Marcos Highway, Sto. Tomas Proper in Baguio City.

This marks a milestone as Suzuki Auto Baguio represents the inaugural partnership between Suzuki Philippines and Highfleet Motors, under the leadership of its president, Mr. Wilson Angheng.

Commenting on this historic collaboration, Mr. Norihide Takei, Director and General Manager for the Automobile Division of Suzuki Philippines Incorporated, expressed, “This partnership with Highfleet Motors Corporation is a testament to our commitment to providing quality vehicles to the vibrant community of Baguio. We are excited to bring Suzuki’s innovative and compact models to this picturesque city.”

Mr. Wilson Angheng, President of Highfleet Motors Corporation, shared his enthusiasm, stating, “Highfleet Motors is honored to be a part of Suzuki’s journey in Baguio. This collaboration reflects our dedication to offering top-notch automotive solutions to the people of Baguio, aligning with Suzuki’s reputation for excellence.”

Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong graced the occasion, extending a warm welcome to Suzuki’s presence in the city. Mayor Magalong is very optimistic that Suzuki would contribute significantly to the advancement of Baguio City’s transport sector. He believes that Baguio residents would benefit greatly from Suzuki’s compact vehicles, aligning with the city’s vision for sustainable and efficient urban mobility.

“Because of the huge problem of traffic in the city of Baguio, we acknowledge that one of the major solutions is to encourage our residents to use compact cars, kaya tamang-tama naman na dumating itong Suzuki,” Mayor Magalong commented.

Mayor Magalong also mentioned that upon seeing Suzuki’s latest offerings, he is hoping that Suzuki would allow the use of its Hybrid models for public transportation. Adding that a critical component in Baguio City’s Smart Mobility project is the modernization of its public transport system.

During the event, Mr. Kenneth So, Corporate Secretary of Highfleet Motors, addressed the audience, emphasizing the impact of Suzuki’s compact vehicles in light of Baguio City’s Smart Mobility project. “With the implementation of Baguio City’s Smart Mobility project, we anticipate a shift in our market automobile preferences. Compact cars will become the preferred choice, not only in Baguio’s central district but in its residential areas as well,” Mr. So remarked.
