CIFOS Shutter Session Returns With Contest For Motorcycles

Following the historic success of its inaugural CIFOS Shutter Session contest last August 23, the Clark International Festival of Speed (CIFOS) announces the second installment: a special MORAC Access Day on October 4 at the Clark International Speedway. This event offers an unparalleled opportunity for budding photographers and videographers to capture the action of two-wheel motorsport at the country’s premier race track.

The first Shutter Session held during the PHIMOS 4-wheel races, was a landmark event that drew over 40 photographers—the largest number of shutterbugs ever to cover a single event at the Clark International Speedway. This overwhelming response solidified CIFOS’s commitment to building a vibrant creative community around motorsport culture.

MORAC Access Day invites freelance photographers, videographers, hobbyists, content creators from motorsports clubs, and social media creatives to showcase their skills. Participants will receive free entry and official media access, complete with assigned trackside shooting time slots, media vests, and a welcome kit.

“We were astounded by the turnout for our first Shutter Session and the incredible talent on display,” said CIFOS Organizing Director Michaelson Lim. “This next event is a testament to our mission of merging the thrill of speed with the passion of creative culture. We are providing a unique platform for aspiring artists to get up close to the action and tell their own stories of motorsport.”

Ten photo finalists and five video finalists will be chosen by a select panel of CIFOS judges. Entries will be judged based on creativity and composition, storytelling and brand relevance, and how well they capture the motorsports and festival vibe.

Top prizes will be awarded to the top three photos and the top two videos, as determined by public voting. Winners of the contest will be awarded exciting prizes, including P 10,000 worth of Fun Kart ride coupons valid for one year at the Clark Speedway, as well as CIFOS All-Access Passes for both the 4-wheel and 2-wheel festivals.

Registration for the MORAC Access Day is free, but slots are limited. The deadline to register is September 30. Participants may register through this link or on the official CIFOS Facebook page.
